This policy applies to purchases made through My BFF Pets, operated by GAIA, LLC.

These Terms govern your access to and use of My BFF Pets and purchases made through the store. By accessing the store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated into them.

Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your location. When you purchase on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.

Store Information

We make reasonable efforts to present products, descriptions, photographs, colors, dimensions, availability, and prices accurately. Screen settings, supplier information, manufacturing updates, and normal production variation may affect appearance. Minor differences that do not materially change the product may occur.

Products and Availability

Products may be limited in quantity, fulfilled from different locations, or supplied by third-party fulfillment partners. We may update, discontinue, limit, or correct a product listing at any time before an order is accepted.

Electrical Products and Regional Standards

Products that plug in or charge are supplied with a US standard plug or a universal USB connector. We do not stock other regional plug types. If you order from outside the United States, you are responsible for checking voltage compatibility and for supplying any adapter you need. Incompatibility with a local outlet is not a defect and is not grounds for a refund under our Return and Refund Policy.

Prices and Promotions

Prices are displayed in the currency shown by the store. Prices, promotions, availability, and offers may change without notice before an order is accepted.

Taxes, expedited shipping, international shipping, duties, import taxes, customs fees, brokerage charges, and other applicable charges may be added when required and may not be included in the displayed product price.

We reserve the right to correct an obvious pricing, product, technical, or typographical error. If an order was placed using an incorrect price, we may contact the customer, cancel the affected item, and issue an appropriate refund.

Orders

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated confirmation acknowledges receipt but does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted or fulfilled.

We may refuse, limit, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including because of unavailable inventory, a pricing or listing error, suspected fraud or payment failure, a shipping or regulatory restriction, an inability to verify information, or misuse of promotions and suspected unauthorized resale. When a paid order is cancelled, an appropriate refund is issued to the original payment method.

Payment

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, payment, and contact information. Payment processing is provided by Shopify and the payment methods available at checkout. We never see or store your full card details.

Shipping

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy. Free standard United States shipping and paid international shipping apply only as shown by the active checkout configuration. International customers are responsible for duties, taxes, customs, and brokerage charges unless checkout expressly states otherwise.

Returns and Refunds

Returns, refunds, damaged items, and cancellations are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

Pet Product Use and Safety

Pet products must be selected, fitted, used, cleaned, maintained, and supervised appropriately. Read all product instructions and warnings before use.

No pet product is indestructible. Regularly inspect products for wear, damage, loose components, sharp edges, or other conditions that could create a hazard. Discontinue use when a product becomes damaged or unsuitable.

The store does not provide veterinary, medical, nutritional, behavioral, legal, or other professional animal-care advice. Consult an appropriately qualified professional regarding the individual needs, behavior, diet, travel, or health of an animal.

Customer Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for activity conducted through your account. Notify us if you believe an account has been used without authorization.

Reviews, Comments, and Other Content

When you submit a review, photograph, comment, or other content, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate, lawful, and does not violate another person's rights.

You grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, adapt, and distribute submitted content for store operation, marketing, and customer-service purposes, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

We may moderate or remove content that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, irrelevant, contains personal information, infringes rights, or violates these Terms. We will not require a positive review as a condition of publication, and we will not suppress a genuine negative review merely because it is unfavorable.

Intellectual Property

Store content, branding, logos, text, graphics, photographs, layouts, and other materials are owned by or licensed to GAIA, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, scrape, sell, exploit, or create derivative works from store content without written authorization, except as permitted by law.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the store for unlawful purposes, to violate another person's rights, to distribute malware or malicious code, to interfere with security or operation, to collect information without authorization, to impersonate another person, to submit fraudulent orders, to abuse promotions, to attempt unauthorized access, or to use automated systems in a manner that damages or overloads the store.

Third-Party Services and Links

The store may use or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, products, or practices of an independent third party.

Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the store and its content are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free content, or that every product will be suitable for every animal or circumstance. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GAIA, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the store or products. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations, and those provisions may not apply to you.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses resulting from your unlawful misuse of the store or material violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable United States law, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection available in the customer's jurisdiction.

Severability and No Waiver

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The updated date will appear at the top. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
